We are delighted to inform you that Andrew ALDERSON, one of our members, will show us the work he has been doing looking at the Tithe Apportionment data for Swaledale and Arkengarthdale in 1841 to 1843.  This is the talk Andrew gave at the Autumn meeting at Barnard Castle and it will last about an hour.  It was very well received at the meeting and hope as many members as possible are able to join us on Zoom.

He will show us a new way of looking at this information using maps and computer software and illustrate how the land and dwellings owned and occupied by ALDERSONs can give us insights into family relationships.
